Cattiva Divino Lash Mascara
You know those girls that have naturally long and luscious lashes? The ones who rarely need mascara and are blessed with falsies for realsies?
Yeah, I’m NOT one of them. My short, stubby and light brown/blondish lashes are there but I’d be damned if anyone else could see them. To battle my lash issue, I’ve tried a ton of mascara’s.
Buxom Lash I purchased at Sephora because of two things. First with a name like Buxom, my lashes couldn’t possibly resist, right? Second, the brush is this kind of cool hourglass figure and I thought it would pump up the volume. WRONG. On both. My lashes resisted. The formula clumped – even after wiping the wand down. Nightmare.
I’ve tried L’Oreal. Lancome. Dior. I’ve tried the classics, the newbies and the innovators. NOTHING has worked. I have a few in my stash till to try that I’m holding out hope for BUT… I was excited when my last BeautyFix offered Cattiva Divino Lash Mascara. I jumped on the chance to include it in my “fix”!
I hadn’t ever heard of Cattiva before but the mascara is paraban free and claimed to be smudge-proof (something I need since I’m always touching my face!). And the bonus here is that the mascara comes in this really cute crystal studded cap. I mean.. hello… add sparkle to anything and it’s automatically better than the rest!
I finally tried it and I have to say, I’m really impressed. It separates my lashes but still makes them long and very full. I really like the wand. It’s super easy to manipulate and get in the corner to the tiny lashes that always escape me. AND it’s super pigmented. I always need super black mascara because my lashes seem to ingest pigment. This mascara… two coats and my lashes give the Kardashian’s a run for their money.
And the bonus is that the formula conditions your lashes! So your lashes don’t become hard and cracking. They simply feel like your lashes… but on steroids.
The mascara costs $24 which is in line with Lancome and Dior but it’s CRYSTAL STUDDED!!! And yeah, I know that shouldn’t matter but it does! It’s cute! And the picture doesn’t do it justice…
Besides, the lash pumping action alone is worth more than the $24! You can purchase Cattiva Divino Lash at Dermstore.com.
