Glossybox February 2013 Edition
As a hardcore product junkie, I’m always looking for my next fix. I belong to a few sample clubs; Testtube (which is quarterly) Birchbox (which is monthly) and my favorite Beautyfix (which is quarterly) are a few that I’ve been a part of since their inception. February marks my second month that I belong to Glossybox. What’s different about Glossybox?
Glossybox sends you 5 Travel Sized products every month from luxury beauty brands. You can get soap, lotion, face creams, masks, nail polish… any sort of luxury beauty item you think about. What does “luxury” mean? It means the best Department Store brands you can think of. You won’t find Neutrogena here (as you would in Testube). The subscription costs $21/month and if you purchase more months up front, you get a better deal.
Each month, Glossybox also sends you survey’s for each of the products in the box. When you answer them, you get “Glossydots”. When you reach 1000 Glossydots, you earn a free box. Other ways to get Glossydots? Referring your friends or family through a personal link (you’ll see mine below!).
One thing Glossybox does that I think is adorable is that each box has a theme. Last month was a blogger theme called “Man Repeller” and this month is Fashion Week themed. So what did I get for February 2013?

You can smell this without unrapping it. It’s divine and I’m not using it. I’ve placed it on a shelf in my bathroom. It’s simply too pretty to wash myself with!
Da Vinci Cosmetics Shimmer Powder Full Size
I am a brand whore and a product junkie. I’m an industry veteran and know a lot about cosmetics. I’ve NEVER heard of Da Vinci before and I’m so thrilled to get a full size shimmer powder! I’m currently having a love affair with anything providing radiance and illumination so shimmer is perfect! The color is also very versatile… it’s a light beige/champagne… very pretty!

And again, Glossybox is schooling me! I’ve not heard of Evologie but during Spring and Summer months, I could certainly use help with clarity! I’m excited to try this!
Lisi Liquid Eyeliner Full Size
I’m starting to feel like a really bad product junkie. Lisi is another new brand for me and I’m excited to get this because I have been obsessed with the cat eye phenom and want to learn how to do it. I received this in black so it’s perfect time to try new looks! 
Nail Rock Nail Wraps Full Set
I do not know what went wrong here. But hot pink and leapord nails are not really what I’d consider “high-end” or “luxury”. They are also way under my age range. I’m giving these to my 13 year old cousin.
All in all, this GlossyBox was amazing! Every product I received was FULL SIZE and items I will certainly use and be reviewing when I do!
