Hello Spring… Beauty straight from the runways of NY!
If you catch me on a weekend, chances are you’ll find my hair pulled back and into a braid. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, my hair is long, very long and I have a ton of hair and while I do enjoy it down, when I’m running around playing mommy, there’s NOTHING more annoying. So with Fashion Week coming to a close in NYC, I’ve been watching. Not for the fashions – though it’s fun to look at that too – but to see what looks I’m going to try come Spring! Here’s some of my favorites from Fashion Week 2013!
Half Up -Half Down Braids… HELLO BOHO!

First, it’s Rodarte… I love Rodarte. BUT it’s so perfect! I am so going to try this! There’s some beachy texture with two braids meeting to become one… LOVE! And I like that cute little bun of a flourish in the center! Very cool looking!
Magenta lips at DVF

I am so not one for color. Anywhere. It’s rare that I stray from my strict, grey, black, white, beige and sometimes Purple palette that I am comfortable in. BUT seeing that beautiful magenta lip is just exciting! The entire lip is filled with MAC Magenta Lip Pencil with a touch of balm. I just might go technicolor in the Spring!
Go Go Glamour!

I will admit this right here and now, I am not an all out Glamour Girl. I’d LOVE to be but that high maintenance routine would murder me. I am not in any way claiming to be low maintenance but heels, perfectly put together outfits and coiffed hair – don’t have the time for that. HOWEVER it’s so awesome to see all out glamour! I’m so loving the movie star vibe and I am so going to put a little glamour into my decidedly bohemian flair!
