If Heidi Klum uses it… it’s good for me too… Victoria’s Secret Lipgloss in Wet
I have to say I didn’t know I was a huge Victoria’s Secret fan but apparently I am. It’s been news to me as I started to write about products. I didn’t really know that I was this huge VS fan. But I am and I’m choosing to embrace it!
A few years ago for Christmas, my Dad got me a VS Makeup train case filled to the brim with oh everything. One of the glosses in there was a color called Wet. It kind of looked like a dark, brownish-pink in the tube and it has NO SPARKLES and we all know by now how I feel about shimmer and shine. So I kind of put it aside. Until I read an article where Heidi Klum, who at one time was VS’s most famous Angel, said that Wet was her #1 go to Lip Color.
So I ran to my train case and pulled it out and gave it a shot. I first tried it on the back of my pinky finger. That soft fleshy part is actually very close to your lip so… when I swiped it, I saw what she meant. It’s kind of the color of your lip only much better. And shinier. It’s like your lips after you licked them.
And there’s something very sexy about that. Especially if you are Heidi Klum. Well, much to my dismay, I didn’t turn into Heidi after using the gloss but I did fall in love with the color and I’ve been purchasing it ever since. It’s very much my go to color when I’m not too sure if I want sparkle and shine or just shine.
The texture is sticky enough to have some staying power (not a ton) but not so sticky that it leaves those crazy little clumps on your lips. My lips feel good after it wears off, moist and supple instead of residue-y and you can’t beat the price. It’s $12!
