I’m peeling! Product Review: Guinot Gommage Biologique
In this season’s Beautyfix, I chose to receive Guinoit’s Gommage Biologique and my reasoning was simple. It says “peeling” on it and I’ve always wanted to do a peel in a dermatologists office or spa (remember, I have a scrub addiction, this is like a step above scrubbing).
For my weekly at home facial, I tried this and I am IN LOVE. THIS stuff is SO cool! It’s this pearlized gel and you squeeze it into your hand and then rub it into your face in circular motions until it dissolves into this fluid. At first, I thought they were cuckoo… BUT after maybe 3 minutes or so, the gel completely liquefied on my face and I was wowed by that… THEN I washed it off.
HELLO smooth. The mask is infused with antioxidants, alpha hydroxy acids and shea butter and peels your outter layer of skin to reveal a brighter, rejuvenated face and neck area with firmer skin. I love that this product completely lived up to it’s verbiage. My skin looked fresh and new. It felt smooth and soft. I was seriously in awe. It’s super lightweight and does a really great job at exfoliating without the harsh scrubbing (ahem). My skin looked radiant without any makeup on. It was THAT good. I would 100% buy this – without a question.
For $38 you get a 1.7 oz. tube that will last you since you don’t need so much and the effects are so amazing… I would so recommend springing for a product like this… I’m in love. With a peel!
