I’ve found a great Pinky-Nude Lip color and… IT’S A LIPSTICK! BECCA Sheer Tint Lip Color in Gisella
Every Saturday morning, I go through the magazine’s that I received through the week. I sit there and make wish lists and sometimes, I get so excited I actually buy something. Last weekend, I don’t recall the magazine, but they were doing a story on Natural Lipstick’s. I am the FIRST one to tell you, I have a ton of Lipstick but prefer gloss. I’ve never really found a truly moisturizing lipstick plus, I like sheer coverage and Lipstick tends to be heavy for me.
They gave a stellar review to BECCA Sheer Tint Lip Color in Gisella saying that it was not only the perfect pink with nude undertones for fair skin (I don’t tan… like ever… wrinkles and sun spots? NO THANKS!). The review was so good that I bought it. From my trusty Sephora app. They describe Gisella on Sephora as a “Caramel Nude” and it’s the perfect description.
The color is pink but has those warm, beige-y undertones to it. The formula is probably the most moisturizing I have EVER tried and trust me, I’ve tried a lot of lipstick in my lifetime! It lasted about 3-4 hours though that as cut considerably short when I drank something (about 2 hours). My lips though stayed soft, long after the color disappeared which for me is pretty amazing. My lips tend to dry really quickly and I keep lip balm EVERYWHERE. In my purse, on my desk (in 2 places), on my bedside table. It’s crazy and they’re all different. I’m a total whore for Lip Balm.
This stuff can replace lip balm. It has all of these good things in it like fatty acids and shea and cocoa butter to keep your lips moist. The color is super sheer and very natural looking. If you like coverage, this might not be for you. But if you like a wash of color and super moist lips… try BECCA Sheer Tint Lip Color out. There are 6 colors ranging from a soft baby pink to a deep berry.
It is on the expensive side at $24 but you will NOT be sorry because the color is so amazing and the formula is truly the most moisturizing ever!
BECCA is a really cool brand that started with Makeup Artist Rebecca Morris Williams when she began to look for the perfect foundation. A foundation “that would look natural, conceal blemishes, feel weightless on the skin and stay fresh all day”. So obviously she never found it and decided to create it herself.
After 6 years of a ton of research, Rebecca’s founded BECCA and a line that focuses on all women, all skin tones and over the past few years, BECCA has been gaining traction with editors and makeup artists alike.
I’m have a bunch of BECCA’s lip glosses but I’m totally into this brand right now and want to try more! Will you try Becca?
