Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer
There’s always some sort of buzz word in beauty and one that’s lasted quite some time is “radiance”. What is radiance really? It’s a glow, it’s clear skin, it’s a lot of things really mushed up into this word, radiance…
I have always been a proponent of products that promote radiance. Because really can you be radiant with unkempt skin? No. One of the things I’ve never really used are shimmer bricks or illuminator type things. I just always thought they made me appear like foil. Ick.
But I love Josie Maran’s stuff. LOVE her lip glosses and her Argan Oil for skin. So… I thought I’d try her Argan Illuminizer. It’s a liquid that you mix with your moisturizer or use alone. It’s kind of a skin tone but with a hefty pearl look to it. It scared me in my hand. Really scared me.
But once I spread it over my face, not so scared. I was skeptical at first but then… I fell in love. It kind of made my skin just appear glow-y. It wasn’t obvious and it wasn’t like sparkles on my skin. It was like there was a light on my face that showed me in my best light. Seriously healthy and all aglow. There’s only 1 color but it will most definitely work for everyone. It’s $28 for a 1 oz. bottle but you can actually purchase a “Morrocan Bazaar Shimmer & Glow Argan Essentials” kit for $28 and in that kit you get a 0.21 oz Argan Color Stick in Rosey(a Blush stick that is a very nice cheek color), 0.5 oz 100% Pure Argan Oil (the BEST on the market), 0.5 oz Argan Illuminizer (The product I’m talking about!), and 0.3 oz Argan High Gloss Lip Quench (THE MOST AMAZING LIP BALM EVER!!!!). And you get that really cool looking makeup case on top of it!
