I love pink lip gloss. I think I’ve pretty much established that on this blog. Me + Pink Lip Gloss = Happy Together. And normally I’m an equal opportunity gloss user and have no problems spending $1 as I do spending $15 on a nice Pink Gloss so when I saw a new L’Oreal Infallible color at CVS, I snapped it up.
Infallible is L’Oreal’s long wearing line and I’m not exactly a fan of long wearing lip gloss. It usually cakes and it’s not shiny enough… but the pink looked so nice… so I bought it. It’s a light pink with tons of sparkles type of gloss. In the tube, I thought, YES!
Out of the tube, I was thinking, Meh. The color is creamy but not moisturizing. Typical of long wearing glosses, it’s incredibly rich in color and incredibly dehydrating on your lips. To top it all off, it lasted maybe 2 hours and I never got that shine that you buy glosses for. I got sparkles. And I got pink frost. I wanted the sparkles not the frost and I was sorely disappointed.
Never again. Back to department stores and Sephora and Ulta I go.
If you’re interested Infallible is available for purchase at your local CVS, Duane Reade and Ulta for about $10. Let me know if you have a different experience with this one!
