A very long time ago (in a land not so far away, ha!), I received Jane Iredale’s 24K Gold Dust in Rose Gold in one of my BeautyFix boxes. And I have taken forever to use it. The other day I got in one of my “must-organize-everything-everywhere-now” moods and my product shelf was on that list.
I took everything down and sorted through some things to give to my mama and my BFF, things I’d never use for whatever reason then the rest of the products I put them in categories. Cleansers, Face Moisturizers, Mascara etc. That’s where I came across Jane’s (we’re likethis me and Jane) 24K Gold Dust. I received it in Rose Gold and I’m pretty sure I didn’t use it because it looks dark.
But here’s the thing… I use a swipe of bronzer prior to blushing my cheeks. So I thought, why not try a deeper flush? So I opened it and the first thing I noticed was it’s sparkles. Perfect Gold flecks sparkled at me like I came across diamonds in a pan. They were so perfect! The color is a beige rose and I was still apprehensive about leaving Nars Orgasm behind but I forwent my daily Orgasm for Gold.
And I like it! The sparkle is more subtle on my face than it is in the pot and I didn’t need a lot of product at all. I needed a tiny swipe on the brush for both apples of my cheeks. And I looked healthy and flushed and sort of glowy! What’s better? There’s ACTUAL GOLD in the product. It’s first in the list of ingredients which just makes it all the better for me!
You can really use this anywhere… decollete and Jane recommends mixing it with your moisturizer or gel for your hair! AND get this… it’s $13.50 and comes in 7 colors… I’m digging the Gold and Bronze color too!
